TPG’s K.C. Mink, who has had a long career as a partner in our Wealth Management division and who is also on our Board of Directors, was named to Forbes Magazine’s 2021 list of Top Financial Security Professionals. K.C. was the lone Oregonian to be included on this list.

About K.C. Mink
As a partner and board member for TPG, he has shared his expertise with high net-worth and high-income families in areas he understands well—protection, savings, and growth—for more than 28 years.

K.C. is recognized by his peers and clients as a thought leader. “Many people don’t have a great relationship with their money. It causes consternation and stress, so inertia sets in. They open up the ‘financial junk drawer’ and throw it all in there. I like the process of guiding people to a better relationship with their finances. At TPG, we bring a level of care to the conversation about money; it’s not just about rate of return.”

As an Oregon State graduate, K.C.’s loyalties are now split between OSU, UCLA (from which his oldest daughter graduated), and the University of Texas, where his youngest attends school and the family currently calls home. When not in the office, he enjoys playing golf with his wife and two daughters. “Attempting to quiet the inner demons in the game of golf is an aggravating and fantastic process.”
