Bruce Kerr and his wife Renee are board members of the Down Syndrome Network of Oregon – DSNO, along with Paula Schiedler, mother of the Eli’s prom date, Megan Schiedler. Both Renee and Paula were featured in the TV spot as well.

In the same weekend, the families of the Down Syndrome Network of Oregon – DSNO, were also treated to 40 tickets by Oregon State University to the OSU Beaver’s Baseball game in celebration of the OSU program called “Beaver Baseball Doesn’t Count Chromosomes“, in which the kids had the opportunity to run the bases, pitch, and have one-on-one time with the players. The team also donated and autographed posters, baseballs, and caps for the kids.
