Portland, Oregon, Sep. 27, 2020 – The Partners Group (TPG) has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Oregonian for the ninth year in a row. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
The Partners Group (TPG) is a purpose-driven, employee-owned consulting, insurance, and financial services firm. TPG partners with individuals and businesses across the nation to solve problems and grow by building custom strategies that discover, protect, and enhance the future.
“We are honored to receive this recognition again in 2020,” said Rod Cruickshank, TPG CEO. “This award is especially meaningful in a year that has challenged all of us in such significant and unexpected ways. We are working harder than ever to ensure we maintain a workplace that supports employees, promotes resiliency, and allows team members to succeed even during difficult times. We are proud of our team and know that our success as a company starts with our focus on and commitment to them.”
TPG’s robust employee wellness program promotes mental, physical, financial, and emotional wellbeing in and outside of the workplace. In the face of COVID-19 and a fully remote workforce, TPG has implemented strategies to improve employee connectedness, increased the number of paid days off for rest and restoration, and has made no workforce reductions.

TPG’s long-term goals demonstrate their ongoing commitment to being purpose driven and employee owned. “Give30” is TPG’s 10-year goal to have given back $30 million in time and money to the community and to have expanded firm ownership to 100% of TPG employees by the end of 2030.
“In times of great change, it is more important than ever to maintain a connection among employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward based on real-time insights into what works best for your organization. The Top Workplaces program can be that positive outcome your company can rally around in the coming months to celebrate leadership and the importance of maintaining an employee-focused culture, even during challenging times.”
