For those of you with calendar year plans, you’ve likely started receiving messages from your recordkeeper or TPA to submit your compliance testing data for the 2022 plan year. Many recordkeepers offer service guarantees to complete testing before the March 15 deadline to process refunds for ADP/ACP testing failures if the data is received by the end of January.
If you are a Safe Harbor plan, testing failures are not a concern, but submitting your data is still important to ensure that all required testing and reconciliation is completed in a timely manner.
