Dr. Robin Beavers, Vice President of Community and Social Impact for the Portland Timbers, is a community engagement and outreach specialist dedicated to developing and managing programs that promote the wellness, equity, and inclusion of all people in our society. For over 20 years she has worked and volunteered within the nonprofit sector, including youth and family services, higher education, mental health, and sports industries. She is passionate about philanthropy and hopes to inspire others to invest time and finances to help all communities thrive. She currently serves as an MBA adjunct professor and has been on the boards of Sport Oregon, the Portland Metro Chamber, the Black Business Association, the Black United Fund, and others.
Born and raised in Portland, OR, Dr. Beavers is the youngest of four sisters and has two adult sons and three young granddaughters.
