Shelley Lindahl – Benefits Marketing Coordinator in Portland, OR, and Angie Britton – Individual Insurance Account Manger in Portland, OR, spent the day volunteering through the Cat Adoption Team (CAT). The employees helped by: watching kittens, helping with paperwork, and more. The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) found 18 kittens and 2 adults homes during this event.
The Cat Adoption Team (CAT) was founded in May 1998 as a safe haven for unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens. Today, CAT is the Pacific Northwest’s largest nonprofit, adoption guarantee cat shelter. Since the shelter opened, more than 30,000 cats and kittens have found a new lease on life through the carefully supervised adoption program.
The Partners Group sponsors employees to volunteer during regular work hours. Volunteering at any 501c3 organization for 4 hours can earn one wellness point at TPG. When employees earn a certain number of wellness points, The Partners Group provides employer paid benefits, including medical and dental.
